The High Commission is Rwanda’s official representatiion in Singapore. Its opening marks our first presence in Southeast Asia.

Since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 2005, Rwanda-Singapore friendly relations have grown rapidly and cooperation has extended to several fields. Rwanda has attached great importance to its relations with Singapore and we hope that our presence here will serve to deepen and broaden this relationship with Singapore and its people.

It is also our aim to fast track Rwanda’s economic development by leveraging Singapore’s unique experience, development, cultural and human resources to build institutional capacity and promote trade and investment.

The High Commission website contains information on Rwanda including current affairs and events relating to Singapore and Rwanda. You will also find useful information on the Chancery, staff, visa and consular services.

It is my hope that through the information available on the High Commission Website, you will be able to gain a better understanding of Rwanda.
